Ashoka:-

It treats almost all gynecological problems, in an ancient medical system called Ayurveda of India Ashoka power was used to treat reproductive problems in women.

Ashoka steam and barks are the most used parts. Ashoka strengthens the uterus and improves ovarian functions. It helps to normalize heavy flow during periods & reduces pain during menstruation.

Haemotoxylin is the most important component of Ashoka bark powder, it regulates menstrual irregularities. Tennin and catechin constituents help to slow down the excess menstrual flow. Natural ferrous compounds are present in Ashoka bark.

Mix 10grams of Ashoka powder with two cups of water. Boil this mixture and reduces it to half a cup. Filter the liquid and take this concoction twice a day with an empty stomach, you can also add a teaspoon of honey for improving the test.

Vitamin C:-

Vitamin C helps to control heavy bleeding from any part of the body, make sure to add fruits that contain vitamin C in more amount.

White radish helps to stop bleeding and control bleeding during periods. You should add white radish leaves to your food during the period.

It also improves the cardiovascular system and liver functions in the body. White radish also consists following nutrients

Unripe papaya:-

According to Ayurveda coriander seeds have active ingredients that can regulate heavy menstrual bleeding. Drinking it as tea reduces inflammation of the uterus as well, it also helps to balance your hormones naturally.

Crush one teaspoon of coriander seeds in mortar and pastel, boil it into 1 cup of water and reduce it in half. Add jaggery or honey to improve the test and drink it twice a day during periods.

Fenugreek:-

Fenugreek is one of the oldest known medical herbs in Ayurveda, in India fenugreek leaves are widely used as leafy vegetables. Fenugreek seeds are an excellent source of iron, a good source of magnesium, copper, and dietary fiber.

Soak one handful of fenugreek seed in half a cup of water overnight. Chew 4-5 fenugreek seeds with an empty stomach. This helps to maintain menstrual irregularities and reduces flow in periods. It is one of the best natural remedies for hormonal imbalance.

Its antihistaminic effect may help to relieve premenstrual tension and the anti-spasmodic effect may relieve premenstrual gastrointestinal spasms.

Apple cider vinegar:-

Apple cider vinegar and honey drink help to control heavy flow in periods, it also helps to reduce inflammation, liquid retention, and menstrual cramps.

Mix two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water and one teaspoon of honey in the drink. Drink this apple cider vinegar before each meal during your menstrual cycle to reduce heavy flow.

Fennel seeds:-

Soak a handful of fennel seeds in half glass of water and drink it with fennel seeds. Fennel seeds contain a compound named Emmenagogue which helps to regulate flow during menses. Also, it relieves cramps and pain during periods.

Green Vegetables:-

Green vegetable contains vitamin K, this help in clotting and prevents excessive blood loss during menses.

The green vegetable also boosts your iron and magnesium levels in the body. Green vegetables like spinach, Kale, Broccoli helps during menstrual periods to prevent blood loss.

Banana Flower:-

Banana flowers can help to increase progesterone levels in the body. Cook banana power and add some curd to it.

When progesterone level in the body falls and estrogen level rises, it causes shedding of endometrium and leads to flow in period. Eating banana flower increases the level of oxygen and help to control bleeding.

Cinnamon Powder:-

If you are suffering from PMS  and heavy flow in periods, cinnamon powder can help to stop heavy flow in the period.

3 grams of cinnamon powder for 3 days in the menstrual cycle can give you good effects during menses.

Ginger:-

If you have the problem of more bleeding during menses for a longer time, drinking ginger tea for 3 months can help to reduce flow during periods.
