The main difference between low-fat paneer and high-fat paneer is the amount of fat saturation. High fat paneer contains more saturation of fat and low fat paneer contains a low amount of saturation. It is made up of skimmed milk.

  • One cup of full-fat milk contains 150 calories and 8g of fat.
  • While low-fat milk contains 100 calories and 2.5g of fat.
  • Skimmed milk contains 80 calories and 0.5g of fat.

How To Make Low Fat Paneer At Home?

Ingredients used 

  • 3 cups of low-fat milk or skimmed milk
  • 1and 1/2 cups of curd
  • beaten

Preparation time

  • 2 minutes

Cooking time

  • 10 minutes

Total Time

  • 12 minutes

Method to make low-fat paneer.

Step 1:

Deposit the milk and boil it in a deep pan, stirring it occasionally.

Step 2:

When the milk starts boiling, stop the flame and wait for 1minute.

Step 3:

Add curds, while stirring softly for 2 minutes

Step 4:

When milk becomes curdled, strain it using a muslin cloth. This is called crumbled paneer.

Step 5:

If you want solid paneer, place paneer into a muslin cloth or in paneer mold or any mold and press it with lead

Your paneer is ready now at home with minimal effort. You can adjust the ingredients according to the quantity and amount of paneer you want.
